Abbey (on the right) has been in my life for almost 10 years now, and being such a beautiful dog, everyone always asks me "what kind of dog is she?" I assumed she was a Golden/Chow/Shepherd mix. It turns out I wasn't too far off. Surprisingly, however, Abbey is primarily a Bull Dog. I know, I can't figure that out either, but, she is also a Chow and German Shepherd, as we thought.
We were also very curious about our very sassy Shepherd/Beagle mix. She has an attitude, but is she ever lovable! Ellie is a Norwegian Elkhound/Lab/Bull Terrier mix. We see the Elkhound, and understand how we thought she was part Shepard, but were we ever shocked to find out that there wasn't any Beagle in her!
It didn't really matter what they are genetically....we love them unconditionally anyway!
